After leaving school, I went straight to Northumbria University where I completed a degree in Sport Science with Coaching. During my time at university, I was elected Club President for Football, which led to me signing a two-year professional contract with Gateshead Football Club. Alongside playing, I gained valuable coaching experience and began exploring a future career in teaching. At the end of my contract, I decided to pursue my long-term passion for education by joining Education Plus, while continuing to play football part-time.
