Provision Coordinator
Charlotte's role is to identify barriers to learning and plan interventions to allow all students to succeed. She is responsible for liaising with schools regarding the referral process and collating data returns. Her role also involves communication about intervention strategies and working with outside agencies to arrange support, whilst sharing regular updates about attendance and wider student progress with schools.
My previous roles in education include running whole-school initiatives and individual projects to enhance pastoral care for SEN and disadvantaged learners. I have also ran a school library, led schemes to encourage engagement with reading, and managed a computer-based learning programme to identify students who need support in progressing with their literacy skills. I draw on aspects of each of these roles to effectively monitor the educational progress and general welfare of our pupils.
Prior to my work in educational provisions, I worked for Marie Curie as a Community Ambassador whilst completing a BA (Hons) degree at Durham University. In this role, I forged and maintained working relationships between local schools, clubs, and businesses on behalf of the charity. I delivered presentations and workshops to children and young adults exploring how they could get involved with or be supported by the charity, using a multi-agency approach to best enable and review children’s holistic development.
