Learning Mentor
Lynnette is a level 3 qualified TA, and throughout her working career, she has gained 14 years of knowledge and experience working alongside teachers and parents and supporting children's needs. Lynnette is now using her experience as a learning mentor in an alternative provision at education plus. As a learning mentor, my role is to support children and help them get the best from their days here at Education Plus, primarily supporting children who are experiencing difficulties due to social, emotional, or behavioural problems.
I have introduced Art into the curriculum – this is a fantastic way to help children with self-confidence and motivation, which in turn improves well-being and attendance, and it is proving to be a huge success with all the students.
